Sare Pul province’s football premier league kicks off during a special ceremony.

Football premier league of Sare Pul province started during an enormous ceremony held by Sare Pul football federation at its newly established stadium in which participant teams participated.
High ranking officials of local government, social personalities and national businessmen of Sare Pul province gathered in the ceremony, and all the formalities were conducted at the beginning, folklore music played and officials delivered speech. First of all, Abdul Haq Faizi, head of Sare Pul football federation, extended cordial wishes and congratulations of Mr. Lt. General Keramuddin Karim, the AFF president, on behalf of him to the audience, and while welcoming and thanking high ranking local officials, brave security forces, religious and pious people of Sare Pul province, and to participant teams, he delivered short report on Sare Pul football federation’s activities and achievements during the last few years, and given the challenges and obstacles on the way of Sare Pul football federation, he called upon local government officials to pay attention and further support Sare Pul football federation in different sections. Following him, Sare Pul province police commander, chairman of provincial council, and delegate of governor of Sare Pul province delivered their speech, and announced their support to sports society especially to football federation. At the end of ceremony, appreciation letters were presented to members of Sare Pul football federation by Sare Pul police commander, then opening game of Sare Pul football premier league was held between Arman and Ariana teams, in which Ariana succeeded to beat its opponent 1-0. It is worth mentioning that Sare Pul football premier league games will be held every day from May 3 onwards at the newly built stadium of the province.
