FIFA’s judicial committee will soon make a decision about AFF election.

Mohammad Yousuf Kargar, the AFF vice-president, Sayed Alireza Aghazada, the AFF Secretary General, and Fazl Mohammad Shahab, the AFF finance officer, attended the press conference and talked about football issues in the country. Mohammad Yousuf Kargar while welcoming the guests he said, “The AFF is happy to have continued its developmental programs and witnessing construction of the first training field for women, three standardized mini pitches for the youths, and reconstruction of Kandahar and Balkh stadiums”. Sayed Alireza Aghazada, the AFF General Secretary, talked about recent football events in the country and the date for the elections, and he added that FIFA’s executive committee convenes an ad-hoc meeting on April 15 to discuss Afghanistan football, and FIFA will announce new date for the AFF elections. Likewise, he said that the recent interferences by a particular candidate has raised FIFA’s concerns, and they considered all programs of the candidate inconsistent with FIFA’s and the AFF’s statutes. Likewise, about presence of Peter Segret he mentioned that he was sorry that a professional coach comes up and interferes in the affairs, which are irrelevant to him, and we have notified FIFA about this issue, and FIFA’s judicial committee will soon make a decision about this issue.
